The VLE Site For Applicants and New Students

What is the VLE for?

In order to help you get a flying start and ensure you've chosen the right subjects, we have set up a VLE site for our courses to give you an idea of what to expect.

Each course has its own area on the site. Some will contain more information than others and some have activities for you to try.

We strongly recommend that you have a very good look at the subjects you have chosen and any others that you may be interested in when you enrol at the end of August.
Please have a go at any exercises or tests which are on the course as these will give you an idea of the skills you will be developing.

How do you access the VLE?

To get to the VLE site, go to:

Hereford Sixth Form College Applicant's Moodle

Follow the onscreen instructions to log in or create an account if you haven't already done so.

When you have logged in, the full course list page will appear. You are welcome to click on any course and enrol yourself. After enrolling you will be taken to the relevant course page.

Once you have enrolled on at least one course your "My courses" page will appear instead of the full course list. To view the full course list again you will need to click the "All courses" button in the bottom right corner of your "My courses" list.

We hope you find the site useful and informative and we would welcome any feedback you have on this new initiative. To leave your feedback click the "Feedback Form" link in the main menu of the site (left side of the page) and use the text box provided.

When you have finished browsing the site please logout using the link in the top right corner of the page.
