Students will develop their employability skills by learning how to deal with customer enquiries, calculate worldwide
time differences, study how different countries control visitor numbers through visa requirements, and more.

What does the course involve?

There are four units:

  • The UK Travel and Tourism Sector (External Assessment)
  • The UK Travel and Tourism Destinations
  • Customer Experience
  • Factors Affecting Worldwide Travel and Tourism

There will be an opportunity for work related learning and you will develop a range of skills including:

  • Problem solving.
  • Project based research, development and presentation.
  • Report writing.

Career path
