College Christmas Closure Details
Posted on 5th December 2022
The last day of term is Friday, 16th December.
This is the major controlled assessment day for our Criminology students. This is a computer-based exam board controlled assessment which contributes to 50% of their final mark and these assessments will be taking place in College as planned.
All other lessons tomorrow will be entirely remote and students will access them via Teams - timetables have been compressed to enable a 1pm finish (see below).
Due to the rail strikes, lessons had already been planned to be available remotely, but we now ask students only to travel to the College if they are directly involved in the first-year Criminology assessment due to the issues with our temporary generators.
College services such as The Library, The Bridge Café and Student Services will be running a reduced service until 1pm for those required to attend College.
The day is compressed as follows to enable a 1pm finish:
9.00 am - 9.45 am BLOCK D
9.50 am - 10.30 am BLOCK B
11.30 am - 12.15 pm BLOCK E
12.20 pm - 1.00 pm BLOCK C
1.00 pm - COLLEGE CLOSURE
