Norwegian Delegation at HSFC
This month, Hereford Sixth Form College welcomed a delegation from Norway who are exploring Herefordshire as part of Hereford's “Applefest”. The delegates were keen to learn how Herefordshire has established itself as an “apple” destination, with the aim of replicating a similar themed destination in Norway.
Part of the delegation comprised of individuals from local government and educational institutions in Norway, who were particularly interested to hear about tourism education in the UK and Herefordshire. Our thanks to Ruth Figg, subject lead for Travel and Tourism, for hosting the delegation on behalf of the College.
Hereford's first annual AppleFest was hosted 1st-16th October by Hereford City Council. To celebrate the 2022 harvest, the world of the apple was brought into the City. Local businesses, councils, producers and community groups banded together to provide an array of entertainment.
