The College will be open as usual at 9am for face to face lessons but if you are unable to attend college due to the adverse weather conditions then lessons will be virtual (Please contact your subject tutor for this to be organised)

If you are travelling a long distance please check your local weather conditions as your safety and security is paramount. Only travel if you feel able to do so without risk.

Hereford Sixth Form College recognises its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of its students and ensures that relevant and effective safeguarding practices exist and are actively promoted within the College.  Where concerns are raised about students’ safety or well-being we will do our best to help and support them, but there might be situations where we may need to pass these concerns onto the local Children’s Services Department and appropriate external agencies for consideration and support.  

A range of personal support is available to students within the College from the Student Services Team including the:

Students will also have access to ongoing support through their allocated Personal Tutor and Lead Tutors.

If you as a student at the College have any concerns about your well-being, safety or rights then you should:

  • Talk to your Personal Tutor.
  • Talk to your Lead Tutor.
  • Talk to any member of the Well-Being Team.
