The end of the academic years means the Performing Arts Department must bid farewell to their Assistant Theatre Technician; a post traditionally held by a former student for a full academic cycle.
This year’s assistant was Levi Cooper who studied A Level Drama & Theatre and BTEC Sport and Exercise Science during his time at college. Levi was heavily involved in Upstage Productions, directing immersive experiences and helped demonstrate wrestling workshops to students looking to expand their repertoire.
Levi has been succeeded in the Assistant Theatre Technician role by El James, a former student of equal calibre. El studied a mixed programme of BTEC Musical Theatre, A Level Media Studies and A Level Politics. She was also a key member of the Rock and Pop Music Academy and singer of college band Dead on Arrival. With her skills in musical theatre and performance, El will be a great addition to the Performing Arts team next year!
